Qualfon’s Year ​End Celebration

In December 2023, Qualfon hosted their Year-End Celebration ​of Blessings. The event featured a Talent Showcase, an Award ​Ceremony for Top Performers, a dinner accompanied by a ​serenade, and concluded with an exclusive concert by the ​band “Oh! Caraga,” ending the night on a high note.

MY ROLE

• Qualfon Idol Competition:
• I was responsible for creating the guidelines and mechanics for the Qualfon Idol competition. This involved ​designing a fair and engaging format for the contest. I managed the elimination rounds, ensuring that each stage ​was conducted smoothly and efficiently, leading up to the championship. Additionally, I coordinated with the ​contest judges.
  
• Event Production:
  
• I meticulously prepared the event production flow, which included planning for audio, visual, and stage set-up. ​This required close attention to detail to ensure that all elements of the production were seamlessly integrated ​and assisted emcees with their talking points, providing them with the necessary information and support to ​keep the event engaging and on track.
  
• Technical Coordination:
  
• I worked hand in hand with the sound and lights director both before and during the event. This collaboration ​was crucial to ensure that all technical aspects, such as lighting cues and sound levels, were perfectly timed and ​executed.
  
• Rehearsals:
  
• I facilitated the event’s dry runs and technical rehearsals. These rehearsals were essential for identifying and ​resolving any potential issues, ensuring that the actual event would proceed without any hitches.
  
• Logistics and Budget Management:
  
• I played a key role in budget allocation, ensuring that funds were appropriately distributed to various aspects of ​the event. I also handled the ordering of meals and supplies, coordinating with various suppliers to ensure timely ​delivery and quality.
  
• Back Stage Management:
  
• During the entire program, I served as the Back Stage Manager. This role involved overseeing the smooth flow ​of the event from behind the scenes, coordinating closely with the Front Stage Manager and Event Director. My ​responsibilities included managing the timing of performances, ensuring that participants were ready for their ​cues, and addressing any last-minute issues that arose.
